A key piece of the championship Lakers teams that included Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal, Fisher was drafted by the Lakers out of Arkansas-Little Rock after earning the Sun Belt conference Player of the Year award in 1996.

In addition to racking up 5 championships and plenty of NBA playoff records, Fisher was deemed the “spokesman” of the team by legendary Lakers coach Phil Jackson, and was identified by Kobe Bryant as his favorite teammate.
