K.J. Costello, the former Stanford and Mississippi State quarterback, joins The Yogi Roth Show in the limited series titled ‘What Does It Mean to Make It?’ K.J., who is on the verge of transitioning to the NFL, has been a forward thinker since childhood. He shares intimate thoughts around his upbringing, recruiting process, the impact of David Shaw at Stanford, the Air Raid under Mike Leach, discernment at the QB position and in life, and how he has dealt with adversity and success. K.J. and Yogi met at the Elite 11 Quarterback competition when K.J. was 16 years old and it was clear that K.J. would ‘Make It’ in life, regardless of how many touchdowns he threw.
